As I mentioned before, I've engaged myself in a Pet Adoption Project with a local animal shelter. Last Thursday I took a trip with all my equipment, set up an impromptu photo studio at the shelter, and began taking photos of the animals. Immediately, one thing became clear...shooting a bunch of squirming animals on seamless is hard work. So, forgive me if the photos aren't technically perfect or you see some sets of hands holding on to the animals just long enough for me to press the shutter. Perfect photos are not what this venture was all about. This venture was about capturing good-quality shots of the animals and showcasing their personality to give them a better chance of finding a home, and in that case, I think we succeeded. All of these wonderful pets need your help to get out of the shelter...some have been there for over 2 years. I find it sad that there are so few people who are willing to open up their hearts and homes to help these animals. Take some time to look over the photos and if you are interested or know someone who may be interested in adopting these animals, I'll put the shelter's contact information at the bottom of this post. Enjoy!
Cute aren't they? If you would like some more information on adopting any one of these adorable animals please contact Panora P.E.T.S. at: 641-431-1PET (1738) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
