Shannon + Jordan: Bessie's Barn Teaser

Shooting at sunset is my absolute favorite time of the day because of the quality of the light during that time. As the sun gets lower in the sky, it has more of the Earth’s atmosphere to travel through, giving it a diffused and warmer appearance — making it much more flattering for portraits. This is why I encourage all of the couples I work with to push their bride and groom portraits to later in the day because I want to work in the best conditions to deliver the best portraits possible.

And since we’re on the topic of beautiful portraits, take this stunning sunset photo from Shannon and Jordan’s rustic country wedding that I intend on sharing later this week. I had such an amazing time working with them and their families to tell their beautiful story.

Have a great week everyone. Cheers!
